Throughout the session, you’ll create your own printing plate, work with printing ink, and produce images on paper, discovering a range of graphic possibilities through simple and accessible processes. The materials used are easy to find and repurpose, giving a second life to objects that would otherwise be thrown away.

It’s a versatile technique that can be easily replicated at home, opening up different ways to keep experimenting beyond the workshop.

The session lasts around 2 hours and is ideal for anyone curious about exploring printmaking in a practical and creative way.

No prior experience is needed, just a willingness to give it a try.

Cyanotype Workshop
Sun and Blue

In this workshop, we explore cyanotype, a printmaking technique that uses light-sensitive substances to create images in deep blue tones.

Throughout the session, you’ll prepare surfaces and create compositions using objects, drawings, or natural elements, then expose them to sunlight to reveal the images. You can print on paper, fabric, or other surfaces, exploring different results through light and exposure time, while also experimenting with various types of paper in different formats and sizes, and how each one influences the final outcome.

This workshop is designed for experimenting with materials and textures, observing how each element transforms and transfers onto the surface. Here, experimentation is key, and every result is unique.

It’s a simple yet surprising process, where chance and light play an essential role.

The session lasts around 2 hours and is ideal for anyone looking to explore printmaking in a free and sensory way and for anyone who loves blue!

No prior experience is needed, just a willingness to give it a try.

Throughout the session, you’ll design and carve your own linoleum block, experiencing the full printing process, from cutting to the final print. You’ll explore contrast, composition, and repetition, discovering how small decisions in your drawing translate into the final image.

We’ll work with different types of paper, including handmade papers, observing how each texture influences the outcome. There will also be a brief introduction to papermaking, helping you better understand the materials and their possibilities.

It’s a direct, physical, and often surprising process, where each print reveals something new.

From there, each participant develops their painting in layers, exploring gesture, composition, and colour mixing at their own pace, without pressure for results. The focus is on experimentation and creating a personal image.

The session lasts around two hours and is open to all experience levels.

Wet on wet

In this workshop, we explore water as the main creative tool in a more sensory and contemplative process. Using watercolour or diluted Chinese ink, you’ll work with the wet-on-wet technique, allowing the paint to spread freely across pre-wetted areas.

The focus is on stains, unexpected blends, and embracing chance as part of the creative process, without the need to control the final result.

The workshop lasts around two hours and no previous experience is required.
